- 72 unlockable medals were added. you unlock medals by beating the ouroboros cup with certain combinations of ship configurations. there are categories for everything you can think of, ranging from easy to gut-busting. YOU'LL NEED TO TRULY MASTER YOUR ABILITIES AND THE TRACKS TO WIN THEM ALL! gathering them increases your engine capacity permanently and enables you to build faster ships. just unlocking the medal isn't enough, how well you do in the cup you unlock it in decides how much of a benefit it gives you!!!

- post-game light absorption increases engine capacity, so you get more benefit from the horde mode challenge
